Metapower has partnered up with AEI Lab S.A. of Greece, the original inventors of the revolutionary Concentric Rotary Engine - SARM - in order to co-develop the technology and bring it to the UK market and beyond.

 

Our team is currently working on the development of this new concept concentric rotary engine, a novel approach to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) engineering. CFD modelling & analysis, shows the following strengths compared to current state-of-the-art ICEs of similar power:

– up to 5 times smaller in size/volume
– up to 6 times reduced weight
– up to 20% more efficient
– lower & better quality of fuel emissions (up to 80% less NOx emissions)
– lower noise during operation
– significantly lower manufacturing, maintenance and usage costs,
– greater lifespan

The benefits of SARM technology for industry, the end-users and the environment are both direct and indirect with significantly lower costs of operation, sector-leading power density, efficiency and environmental "friendliness" . Our goal is to make SARM one of the dominant engine technologies in the world for all types of prime mover applications conventional or hybrid from marine and automotive to aerospace applications.
